About Our Ministry

Our Mission, Vision & History

Our Mission

Omo Beza Children's Ministry is dedicated to the rescue and nurturing of at-risk children through the transformative power of Jesus Christ. We provide comprehensive care through shelter, education, and spiritual development, empowering these children to become future leaders and ambassadors of the Gospel within their communities.

  • Spiritual Development: Comprehensive biblical education and Christian discipleship programs
  • Holistic Care: Essential provisions including nutrition, healthcare, shelter, and psychological support
  • Academic Excellence: Structured educational programs and supplementary tutoring services
  • Community Impact: Strategic engagement with local communities to promote positive cultural transformation through Gospel-centered initiatives

Our Vision

We envision a future where children once deemed vulnerable emerge as empowered disciples of Christ, equipped to transform their communities through the Gospel's message of hope and redemption.

  • Current Impact: Fifteen children under comprehensive care and protection
  • Spiritual Formation: Daily structured prayer, biblical study, and worship programs
  • Educational Advancement: Measurable progress in academic achievement and personal development
  • Community Integration: Strategic partnerships with local communities to foster sustainable cultural transformation

Our History

The Beeza Children's Center was established on September 28, 2022, in the Tsemay region of Ethiopia. Our initial initiative involved the strategic relocation of fifteen children from various pastoralist communities to our center, facilitated through collaborative efforts with missionary organizations.

The South Omo region, while rich in cultural heritage and natural resources, faces significant socio-economic challenges. Despite extensive missionary engagement spanning over six decades, the region continues to experience limitations in community leadership development and spiritual maturity.

Luqa, situated 63 kilometers from Jinka in the Tsemay region, serves as a strategic location for our mission. This community represents a significant concentration of Tsemay natives, complemented by a diverse population including members of the Banna tribe, making it an ideal center for our ministry's operations.
